by the Government and reputed university
of the country would be eligible to participate. |

Other institutes teaching
cinema, but not completely devoted to film
making are not eligible to participate.

The diploma films mean a
short feature film made by student to get
the final diploma in direction. |
|
|

The entry should be sent
by the Head/ Director/ Principal of the
School/ Institute. |
|
|
 |
Each School/ Institute can
send 3 short features in English or subtitled
in English diploma films of duration between
15 to 30 min. The Festival can make
exceptions for duration. |

 |
Entry form will not be accepted
from students but Festival Director can
make exception for any short feature made
by Asian student from the country where
there is no film school and student studying
cinema outside Asia. |

3 Member International Jury
will give the Award for the Best Diploma
Film. |
|
|
 |
Cash award of Rs. 1,00,000/-
(Approx. US$ 2,000) to the student plus
trophy to the film school. |
|
|
 |
The decision of the jury
will be final. |
|
|
 |
Preview tapes VCD/ VHS Pal
should be submitted by the film schools
at their expense; along with the entry forms
by 30th August 2005. |
|
|
 |
The final prints in 35 mm
/ DVD should reach us by 10th Oct. 2005. |
